O Our next Monthly Speaker Evening will take place in the Library at the Lasswade Centre, Bonnyrigg, on Wednesday 8th Nov, 7PM. Our speaker will be Dr. Arran Johnston, who will give a presentation on 'The Battle of Dunbar'. All are welcome.

Royal Scots Remembrance Event
Dalkeith Palace - 4th-8th November 2023
The Lothians Family History Society has been invited to host a stand at this event, to assist with research, primarily on the Military of the Boer War, 1st World War and the 2nd World War, as well as general research on Ancestry and Local History.

This is a free event and is open to the public, but if you are interested in attending, it is advised to book on-line to ensure the time and date of your visit is available (Limited numbers to Dalkeith Palace)

 

Loanhead Library 'Drop-In Days'.
Our drop-in sessions at Loanhead Library will take place on the third Thursday of each month, 10am till 2pm.
This is open to all persons interested in Family History Research and Local History.
